Case study - Keeping the doors open and savings of £1.9m on hospitality maintenance costs

this client's priority was reducing restaurant closures....

The client's primary focus was on reducing restaurant closure hours, having suffered the costs and damaged reputation of closures, as well as the frustrations of both their colleagues and customers, this client knew what it needed to fix first.
In collaboration with restaurant managers and teams, we were able to analyse how the estate operates and identify relative asset performance across the estate.

The insights, recommendations and improved processes, arising from this collaboration, resulted in a 42% reduction in closure hours.

• Implemented a bespoke tiered PMV approach maximised both operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Provided additional planned maintenance which drove down the reactive maintenance spend and increased operational performance.
• The client only pays for the service received (Maximum Price Protocol and Certification Audit savings).
• Benchmarked all quotes to ensure value for money in line with industry standards.
• Bundling of PPM tasks to save on separate call out costs and ensure efficiencies of engineer visits.
• Supply chain rate control management, mitigating all cost request increases where achievable.
